Title: all-cats-are-beautiful

Year: 2026

Technique / Materials: Risograph print on paper, 200 g/m²

Size: A3

This print unfolds as a dense camouflage. It is a joyful celebration of the uniqueness of every cat. A limited edition of five risograph A3 prints on offset paper. Created for Papillarya’s charity exhibition, the work supports animal rescue organizations in Bucharest. The artwork is inspired by a personal memory from 2015, when Andrei Oros moved back from Vienna to Bucharest.

The city felt full of cats – present in everyday life, whether hanging out in apartments, painting in abandoned spaces, or simply spending long hours in the city. A specific vintage cat-patterned fabric from that period became the visual for this piece. Rather than just a colorful graphic, the work captures the lasting impression of all the cats – a memory transformed into pattern and form.
